Gearing up for the Holidays

We have had a lot of fun the past couple weeks enjoying the holiday festivities at home and around town.  One of Donovan's favorite ways to pass time is a Christmas music dance party.  It calms him down every time. :)  We took Donovan to the Zoo Lights the other night.  He loves lights so we thought it would be fun for him but he decided to sleep the entire time.  Oh well!  We went with our friend Martiza and her son Israel and had a great time anyway.  He also got to see Santa for the first time...well, he didn't see Santa, but Santa saw him.  We also attend a couple holiday church functions which were fun, but he pretty much slept through those too.  Donovan and I have gone on many outings gathering gifts and supplies for our adventure back to Wisconsin.  We leave today and I am crossing my fingers that it all goes smoothly and that he sleeps for the majority of the time.  I am so thankful that so many of our friends and family have stopped by the house the past couple weeks while we are home during the day.  It is so helpful to have someone hold Donovan for even just a half hour so that I can use the computer with two hands instead of one :)  Donovan had his first "play date" this week.  They boys were only a week apart but you would think Donovan was months older than Alex by the size difference.  We are very excited to see Grandma and Grandpa again back in Wisconsin and to meet Donovan's "cousin" Cameron for the first time.   We can not wait to see Nate, Casey, Kaleb, Billy, Jody, Tate and Taylor as well!!!

Here are some pictures from the past couple weeks....

Santa!

Beka knows just how to get Donovan to sleep!

Just one week apart...can you believe it?!?

Holy cow Donovan!

We hope everyone travels safe over the holidays.  We sure wish we could spend time with all of our friends and family!   We send our love in thoughts and prayers!  XOXO
